Porsche 911 GT3 (996.2) [Add-on]


Note: if you want to add this car with Binary, use the Binary v2 Compatibility Pack to do so
 
converted from Forza 4 / Incompatible with Modloader

Features:

Can be customized with:
  • License plates (in tribute to the late Saki Kaskas) [under "body kits"]
  • Splitters / roll cages / spoilers [under "hoods"]
  • Wheels
  • Paint
  • Vinyls (includes debug map)
  • Tinted windows
  • Decals
Other features:
  • NFSUC female driver model (modified textures)
  • Top speed: 200+ mph (320+ km/h) [stock] / 246 mph (397 km/h) [Ultimate/Junkman parts]
  • LOD0 interior
  • Optional 1024px vinyls included (to use with nlgzrgn's recompiled vinyls pack)

Installation (make backups first!):

  • Make sure you have NFSMW Unlimiter installed first
  • Get Ed The Car Dealer to add the GLOBALB entries. To do so:
    • Move the 996GT3.ini file to the Config\NFSMW folder of Ed
    • Move the SECONDARY_LOGO_996GT3.dds file to the Resources\NFSMW\FrontEnd\FrontEndTextures\729181AD folder of Ed
    • Run Ed, open your NFSMW folder and click on the Add Cars button.
  • With NFS-VltEd, import the Porsche 911 GT3 (996.2) Setup.nfsms file, select Install Car (Files and Settings), click Install and save
  • To use add-on cars you should either create a new savefile or patch your existing savefile with the Save Patcher and Save Editor tools. Patch the save first then open the save with the save editor and save it.
